During October 2020 Artscape descended on the Swedish county of Östergötland. ARTSCAPE FORM involved four different municipalities during a two week production and the main purpose was to push urban art forward into new uncharted territory. International, Swedish and local artists were invited to create a total of 16 large scale murals in Linköping, Motala, Mjölby and Åtvidaberg. A unique twist to the project was the addition of Augmented Reality – technology that attached a digital dimension to the art. 

Artscape regards public space as something fluid with an inherent potential to change form. Can the cityscape become something else entirely? Can a few brushstrokes create an entire new world to explore? We believe so and that ARTSCAPE FORM rose to the challenge!
